Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport – Transfer to Gangtok

• Meet and greet on arrival at Bagdogra International Airport.
• Transfer to Gangtok (approx. 125 km / 5-hour drive).
• Enjoy the scenic journey through lush valleys and winding hill roads.
• Check in to your hotel and relax after your journey.
• Evening at leisure—explore the local market or enjoy the pleasant weather.
• Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir

• After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to:
  • Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft)—a sacred glacial lake surrounded by snow-capped peaks.
  • New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft)—a temple dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh, an Indian Army soldier revered as a saint.
• Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views and optional yak rides near the lake.
• Return to Gangtok by evening.
• Overnight stay at Gangtok.

• Note: In case of heavy snowfall or road blockage, alternate sightseeing will be provided.

Day 3: Gangtok – Transfer to Darjeeling

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
• Check out and transfer to Darjeeling (approx. 110 km / 4 hours).
• Journey through picturesque landscapes, tea gardens, and charming villages.
• On arrival, check in to your hotel.
• Evening free for leisure or local exploration.
• Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 4: Darjeeling Full-Day Sightseeing with Tiger Hill

• Early morning (around 4:00 AM), drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 ft) to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mount Kanchenjunga.
  • Subject to availability of visiting token. If unavailable, the Tiger Hill visit will be covered during the day.
• Return to the hotel for breakfast.
• Proceed for Darjeeling sightseeing covering:
  • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute—a museum dedicated to mountaineering history.
  • Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (Thursday closed).
  • Tenzing Rock—named after Tenzing Norgay, with options for short climbs.
  • Darjeeling Ropeway (closed on the 19th of every month).
  • Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre (Sunday closed).
  • Tea Garden (outer view)—see where the world-famous Darjeeling tea is cultivated.
  • Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda—serene Buddhist shrines with panoramic views.
• Evening free for shopping or relaxation.
• Overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 5: Departure—Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
• Check out and drive back to Bagdogra Airport (approx. 70 km / 3 hours).
