Day 1 – Arrival in Tbilisi (19 Aug)

• This itinerary offers the perfect blend of Georgia’s majestic Caucasus Mountains, historic landmarks, scenic valleys, waterfalls, and the vibrant culture of Tbilisi.
• Upon arrival at Tbilisi International Airport, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel in Tbilisi for check-in.
• Overnight in Tbilisi.

Day 2 – Tbilisi – Ananuri – Gudauri – Kazbegi Tour (20 Aug)

220 KM / 8 Hours

• 09:00 – Meet your driver or guide in the hotel lobby and start your journey north along the famous Georgian Military Highway, heading toward the border with Russia.
• 10:30 – Stop at the Jinvali Water Reservoir, a large lake created during the Soviet era. Take about 20 minutes to enjoy the views before continuing toward the Ananuri complex.
• 11:00 – Arrive at the Ananuri complex, a historic fortress and former residence of the Argveti Dukes. The complex sits beautifully above the Jinvali Reservoir and includes churches and towers from the 16th and 17th centuries. Explore two churches, including the older one built in 1689 with carvings of grapes and crosses that reflect Georgia’s rich culture.
• 11:30 – Continue your drive to see the meeting point of two mountain rivers, famous for keeping their different colors even after they merge. On the way, taste fresh mineral water from the mountain springs in Mleta.
• 13:00 – Arrive at Gudauri. Drive over the Cross Pass and stop at the Soviet-era “People’s Friendship” viewpoint for spectacular views of the deep Caucasus gorges.
• 14:00 – Reach Kazbegi (Stepantsminda) and switch to a 4×4 vehicle to drive up to Gergeti Holy Trinity Church. From here, enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Kazbegi and the surrounding mountains.
• 16:00 – Start the drive back to Gudauri.
• 18:00 – Arrive at your hotel.
• Overnight in Gudauri.

Day 3 – Gudauri – Gveleti Waterfall – Truso Valley – Gudauri (21 Aug)

80 KM / 6 Hours

• 10:00 AM – Meet your driver and start the excursion.
• Travel through the spectacular Truso Valley, known for its unforgettable panoramas, unique architecture, culture, and natural mineral springs.

Visit:

• Village Ketrisi
• Zakagori Old Fortress
• Continue to a small mineral lake located in the middle of Truso Valley and taste various mineral waters, including naturally salty mineral springs.
• Enjoy lunch and relaxation amidst the stunning mountain scenery.
• Transfer to Gveleti Village and begin your hike along the main trail to visit the Small Gveleti Waterfall. Continue further to the Big Gveleti Waterfall, where you can relax, take photographs, and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscape.
• After exploring the waterfalls, transfer back to Gudauri.

• For Truso Valley, it is mandatory to choose the Truso Valley – Jeep Tour (off-road) from the itinerary extra services. Otherwise, this tour can’t be managed within a day.

Day 4 – Gudauri to Tbilisi City Tour (22 Aug)

150 KM / 8 Hours

• 10:00 AM – Departure from Gudauri Hotel.
• Meet your driver-guide in the hotel lobby and begin the scenic drive to Tbilisi via the Georgian Military Highway, enjoying mountain views along the way.
• 1:00 PM – Arrival in Tbilisi & Start of City Tour

• Visit this monumental sculpture complex overlooking the Tbilisi Sea. The towering pillars depict Georgian history and culture.

Old Town Exploration

• Metekhi Church overlooking the Mtkvari River
• Monument to King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi
• Walk through Rike Park
• Cross the iconic Peace Bridge

Narikala Fortress & Cable Car

• Take the cable car from Rike Park up to Narikala Fortress and enjoy panoramic views over the city. Visit the famous Mother Georgia statue overlooking Old Tbilisi.

Sulphur Baths District

• Walk through the historic Abanotubani district, passing the only mosque in Tbilisi and exploring the charming traditional streets.
• 6:00 PM – End of the tour and transfer to the hotel.
