You arrive in Hanoi, do the city and Ninh Binh by road, then board the Ha Long cruise for one night, and that cruise is the centre of this trip. Your last day is free for shopping with a late checkout, then a 20:30 airport transfer for the midnight Emirates flight home.

You stay 3 nights in Hanoi at the Foreign Relations or Army Hotel (Deluxe or similar) and 1 night on the Mila Grand or Alisa Grand cruise in an ROH cabin. You fly Emirates return: EK394 on 29 Nov from Dubai at 03:40 landing 12:40, and EK395 on 4 Dec from Hanoi at 00:25 landing 05:00.

Day 1: Hanoi arrival, half-day city (29 Nov)

• Fly Emirates EK394 Dubai DXB to Hanoi HAN, 29 Nov 03:40 to 12:40. Land, meet your guide and driver, and transfer to the hotel (check-in from 14:00, no early check-in).
• Half-day Hanoi city: Ho Chi Minh complex (outside), One Pillar Pagoda, Train Street coffee stop, and a 1-hour old-quarter cyclo ride.
• Overnight in Hanoi, Foreign Relations or Army Hotel Deluxe or similar.

Day 2: Hanoi, Hoa Lu and Trang An

• Drive 110km south to Ninh Binh, about 2 hours each way, by 45-seater air-conditioned coach.
• Visit Hoa Lu temples of the Dinh and Le kings, then a Trang An rowing-boat ride through Sang, Toi, Ba Giot and Nau Ruou caves.
• Breakfast at the hotel. Other meals on your own.
• Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi to Ha Long Bay cruise

• Shared limousine transfer to Tuan Chau port, then tender to the Mila Grand or Alisa Grand cruise (ROH cabin).
• Sail Lan Ha Bay. Visit Dark and Bright Cave by bamboo boat or kayak, and swim off the ship as scheduled. Wi-Fi is limited in the bay, and vegetarian food is available on request.
• Lunch and dinner on board, plus a sunset happy hour and spring-roll cooking class.
• Overnight on the cruise.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay to Hanoi, Grand World evening

• Sunrise Tai Chi on deck, then visit Trung Trang Cave on Cat Ba Island as scheduled.
• Brunch on board before disembarking and driving back to Hanoi.
• Evening at Grand World Hanoi for a walk and photos. Gondola ride and show tickets are not included.
• Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Free day and departure (4 Dec)

• Free day for shopping and exploring on your own.
• Late checkout as listed, then pack and get ready for the midnight flight.
• 20:30 group transfer to Hanoi airport for Emirates EK395 HAN to DXB, 4 Dec 00:25 to 05:00.
