This trip or that one from India

Phuket or Krabi, houseboat or hotel: the forks travellers from Kerala actually get stuck on.

A comparison page exists because someone is stuck between two real options, not because we needed another “complete guide”. Alleppey versus Kumarakom, Phuket versus Krabi, bus versus flight for Umrah: each article should pick a winner per traveller type and say who should ignore the winner. If both sides are Mapshore products, link to both location or Umrah pages. If only one is, say so. Do not write a fake draw to keep every destination equally pretty.

We do not publish two thin complete guides that target the same country. That is how visa and holiday pages get cannibalised. A comparison owns the modifier “versus”. The commercial pillar still owns the country name. The first 150 words must link up to that pillar and across to the sibling article if we have one.

Kerala readers care about overnight trains, houseboat privacy and school-holiday crowds in a way Dubai readers do not. That is why this hub is not a copied UAE list. When a comparison is really a visa question (Schengen versus UK for a first Europe trip), send the reader to visa-support as well, because the blocker is often the appointment, not the beach.

Existing posts whose slug already contains vs stay here. New ones should only be opened when we have two destinations or two modes we actually understand from Kerala desks. A comparison with no lived detail is a listicle, and we will not add it to this cluster.

Mapshore has planned holidays and visa files from Kerala since 2005. If a guide on this hub is missing a date, treat the facts as a starting point and confirm with the desk before you book leave or submit a file. We would rather leave a gap than invent a fee, a quota, an appointment wait or a hotel that is not on the books. That is also why these pages have no quote bar: they are here to be read, cited and reused, not to close a sale in the first screen. When you want a price, open the holidays, visa or Umrah page that this article links to.

This trip or that one questions

Short answers. The commercial visa, holiday and Umrah pages remain the place to file or book.

Yes, by traveller type. A couple and a family should not get the same shrug.

We compare destinations and modes. Named packages stay on holidays so prices do not go stale in an article.

That is a desk conversation. Guides will not add a quote bar to force the click.
