Do UAE Residents Need a Qatar Visa?
Most UAE residents do not need to apply in advance — Indians, Pakistanis, Filipinos and other expats with a valid UAE residence visa get a free 30-day visa on arrival at Hamad International Airport, Doha. UAE passport holders are visa-free. Only UAE-based visitors without a valid residence visa (for example, on a tourist or visit visa) need to apply for a Qatar e-visa before travel.

If your UAE residence visa is valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry into Qatar, you qualify for a free 30-day visa on arrival. No prior application. No fee. Arrive at Hamad International Airport with your original UAE residence visa, Emirates ID, return ticket, and a hotel booking or host address. Immigration officers process the on-arrival stamp in minutes. The visa is single-entry; if you plan to leave Qatar and return within the same trip, you will need to re-enter with the on-arrival process again or apply for a multiple-entry e-visa.
Qatar e-Visa for UAE Expats Without GCC Residence
If your UAE residence visa has lapsed, you are on a visit visa, or you hold a passport not covered by GCC-resident on-arrival privileges, apply via the Hayya portal (visitor.experience.qatar) before travel. Single-entry e-visa: QAR 100 (approximately AED 100). Multiple-entry: QAR 200 (AED 200). Processing is 24 to 72 hours. You can also apply through VFS Qatar in Dubai. VFS Qatar Dubai is located at Clover Bay Tower, Business Bay, Dubai. Walk-in and appointment slots are available. Participated Thailand tour (From 26th April to 1st May 2025) with Mapshore Travels. We 30 members team really enjoyed the trip. Cruise trip was mind-blowing and amazing. And my wedding anniversary celebration in the cruise was a great surprise. No negatives to say full of positives. Two small negatives are lunch at safari world is not good as compared with other days lunch and flight to thailand was little bit horrible due poor seating.
